Aziz Mulay-Shah is an international strategy and public affairs advisor with a strong focus on wellbeing economics, sustainability, and the intersection of policy and business. His career spans government, diplomacy, and consulting—bringing a multidimensional perspective to ESG, public-private collaboration, and sustainable growth.
A former Canadian diplomat, Aziz served in various roles focused on international trade diplomacy and government relations, with a particular emphasis on commercial and strategic engagement in the Middle East. Following his diplomatic service, he joined PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as a consultant, where he worked on policy strategy, ESG governance, and wellbeing frameworks tailored for the private sector.
Aziz’s background combines international relations, strategy development, and public policy innovation. He is passionate about supporting organizations that seek to align with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and has been deeply involved in designing wellbeing-centered business models, policies, and investment frameworks. His current areas of focus include the development of social impact investment platforms that integrate technology and ESG assessment to guide responsible investment decisions.
He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and EU Public Affairs from the University of Amsterdam, and is known for his ability to bridge policy thinking with business execution.
